Home in the Sky

"Home in the Sky" was installed at the Pelham Art Center in fall 2017. A site specific work, the work combines images and objects with language from real estate listings -- highlighting how images and language stoke desire for an often unattainable level of perfection that leads to exclusiveness and inequality. The work invites the viewwer to take a seat in this limnal space and perhaps imagine what an alternative and inclusive space might be.
